The Historical Society aims to preserve the history of the region through its museum, public meetings and educational programs. The one room schoolhouse pictured at the top of this page was built prior to 1856 and possibly as early as 1813. The former Giffords Valley Schoolhouse #9 was partially dismantled and moved to its present location (412 South Main Street) on April 25, 1990.   It is now the home of Northville & Northampton Historical Society Museum. The museum is open from June through October Wednesdays and Saturday's 10am - 2pm, or by appointment.
MEETING TIME: First Wednesday of the month, 7pm:  Bradt Building
